We know that money is about much more than just cards, bills and bank accounts.
Get Set is a financial wellbeing project for families in Islington.
Money plays a huge role in our lives. We need control over it to plan for the future and deal with the unexpected, giving us the freedom to enjoy ourselves.
At Get Set, we focus less on the technical, and more on developing an understanding of how our emotions, our mood and the environment around us influence spending. We see the importance of separating out essentials and temptations, and having an answer to the question, “where does it all go?”.
We discuss the difficulties of talking to our children about money and provide activities and tools to bring them into the conversation. We help you identify what skills, habits and values you would like to pass on to your children.
Upcoming free open courses

Presenting our findings
We present the findings from Get Set at Lift Islington on March 28th 2019.
"BEFORE I NEVER USED TO EXPLAIN TO my children WHY I COULDN’T BUY A CERTAIN THING OR WHATEVER, I THOUGHT THEY WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND."
